A report out of ESPN Dallas on Monday has 2012 linebacker Domenic Spencer of powerhouse Skyline High School committing to UCF.

ESPN's Damon Sayles reported that Spencer (5-foot-11, 215 pounds) is expected to sign his UCF National Letter of Intent on Tuesday morning. Spencer is the 13th NCAA Division I-A signee for the 2012 class.

The signing will fill a huge need for UCF, which lost out on several linebackers the Knights were chasing late into the 2012 recruiting campaign prior to National Signing Day.

Skyline recruiting coordinator Jason Garrett told Sayles: “It’s a heck of a move for him, and he’s elated. Coach [George] O’Leary got off the phone with mom and dad. He’s going to fax the letter of intent [Tuesday].”
