UCF beat writer Paul Tenorio takes a look at UCF's spring football program.

George O'Leary can anticipate a somewhat restful September for his team following its trip to Ireland.

UCF's 2014 football schedule was released Tuesday afternoon.

The reigning Fiesta Bowl champions will get two bye weeks in the first full month of competition, which concludes with a home game against Bethune-Cookman University Sept. 20. B-CU replaced FIU after the schools could not agree on a date to reschedule their game.

Also of note, UCF football's home meeting with BYU has been moved to Thursday night, Oct. 9, from Saturday, Oct. 11, giving the Knights three Thursday night contests during the 2014 season. UCF also has two Friday night games in November, one at home game against Tulsa on Nov. 14 and one on the road against rival USF on Black Friday -- Nov. 28.

UCF will get three consecutive home games in October and closes the season out with two games on the road, including a tough trip to East Carolina in the regular season finale.
