The Knights earned the C-USA Sport Academic Award for a second straight season, finishing 2012-13 with the highest team grade point average in the league.
UCF’s 3.024 team GPA was the first time in C-USA history that a football program finished with a 3.0 or better. It was also UCF’s highest team GPA in school history for the football program.
The team posted a 3.095 GPA in the fall and a 2.954 GPA in the spring, both record high for the respective semesters under George O’Leary. Seven UCF players posted a 4.0 GPA in the fall, while three turned in a 4.0 in the spring.
UCF’s graduation success rate is at 81 percent, 13 percent above the national average and highest in school history.
