UPDATED: Game 5 of the NBA Finals scored big time locally and nationally for ABC Sunday night.

The San Antonio Spurs beat the Miami Heat, 114-104. The game easily topped the ratings for Central Florida by averaging 263,500 viewers. The series resumes with Game 6 at 9 p.m. Tuesday on ABC.

Golf was big Sunday night, too. The conclusion of the U.S. Open drew 162,400 viewers in the 7:30 half-hour on NBC. Justin Rose won in that half-hour, finishing ahead of Phil Mickelson.  

The night's other most-watched broadcasts included CBS' "60 Minutes" with 121,500 viewers and the Miss USA Pageant on NBC with 64,000.

Notable cable programs included TNT's "Falling Skies" with 51,300 viewers, Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey" with 46,300 and HBO's "True Blood" with 41,200.

The top programs with the 18-to-49 age group were the NBA Finals, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," "True Blood" and "60 Minutes."

In national broadcast ratings, updated ratings showed ABC averaged 13.1 million viewers in prime time. The other networks: NBC with 5.8 million, CBS with 4.3 million and Fox with 2.1 million. ABC won the 18-to-49 age group by a wide margin.

The NBA game averaged 16.3 million. U.S. Open golf on NBC drew 8.4 million in the 7 p.m. hour. Other programs of note: "60 Minutes" with 7 million, the Miss USA Pageant with 4.6 million, the NBA pre-game show with 3.9 million and Jimmy Kimmel's prime-time special on ABC with 2.9 million.
