Byrd has already received official scholarship offers from New Mexico, Florida A&M and Florida International. But he listed his current top three schools as Iowa State, South Carolina and Georgia Southern.
Byrd sat out the first half of the Seminoles' first round playoff game with Timber Creek last week with a sprained ankle. With his team trailing 17-2, though, he suited up for the second half and was instrumental in the 30-27, double-overtime win.
One of the Seminoles best run stoppers, Byrd had 46 tackles entering the Seminole's second round playoff game with Winter Park on Friday.
