The Florida Times Union reported today that twice-decommitted Jacksonville Ed White High running back Casey Turner has committed to North Carolina.

Turner, who had been invited to visit UCF this weekend for the Knights be recruiting event, committed to the Tar Heels on Friday and told Hays Carlyon of the TU, “This is definitely my final decision. I will be signing with North Carolina on Wednesday.”

Turner had committed to Florida International last fall only to decommit from the Panthers to accept a Rutgers offer in December. That commitment was obviously shaky, which led teams like UNC and UCF to start pursuing the 5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect.

It is unclear if Turner will still visit UCF this weekend.
