Florida Gators alum Jeff Demps headlines a group of Orlando athletes headed to Florida Hospital for Children to cheer up the pediatric patients today at 5 p.m.
Demps will be joined by 4x400 Olympic gold medalist Dee Dee Trotter, 100-meter bronze medalist Kellie WElls, triathlete Alicia Kaye, former NFL linebacker Kawika Mitchell and former Orlando Magic forward Tony Battie.
Some of the athletes will participate in a running clinic at the hospital, “Running Tips from the Pros.” Florida Hospital is trying to inspire a healthier lifestyle and help the community live to a healthy 100 years of age as part of its Healthy 100 program
