Congratulations to Orlando's Scott Porter.

He married Kelsey Mayfield on Saturday in Dripping Springs, Texas, People magazine reports.

Porter, 33, gained stardom as paralyzed quarterback Jason Street on the NBC series "Friday Night Lights" and won raves for his acting as the devious investigator Blake on CBS' "The Good Wife."

On wedding day, Porter tweeted:"Today is the day. There are no more tomorrows. And I could NOT be happier!"

He gives more updates via Twitter about the wedding and his feelings.

Porter, a Lake Howell High alum, is a star of "Hart of Dixie" on The CW. In a 2011 interview, he told me about taking the role of George Tucker in that series:

"Hollywood tries to define you by what you've done recently. I wanted to show a lighter side of myself. I came from musical comedy and comedy. I wanted to find a show I could be a leading man on and show that lighthearted nature."

And he added: "George interested me because he could easily be an aw-shucks good guy. There's a little bit of a sarcastic nature, a cockiness to him that comes from being an ultra-competitive guy.
