Here is your gold medal, now here is your lawsuit courtesy of mom and dad. How do you like those rotten apples?
Tampa resident Tianna Madison, a member of the gold medal 4x100 U.S. Olympic relay team, is being sued by her parents for allegedly making slanderous statements about her parents before the London Olympics according to ABC News.
ABC reports that Madison claimed her parents mismanaged her finances and allowed a boy who molested her into their home.
"Throughout her childhood, and into adulthood, Robert Madison and Jo Ann Madison have provided Tianna Madison with a loving, supportive and generous environment that has enabled her to achieve success as a sprinter, including her obtaining a gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games, as well as achieving success in other athletic endeavors," the lawsuit said.
Her parents are seeking $25,000 in damages.
What a shame for everyone involved.
