There's one word Jacque Vaughn hasn't used and won't use around his Orlando Magic players this season.

That word is "rebuilding."

"I think the fact that I haven't said those words is the most consistent thing, and that'll be my approach going forward," Vaughn said during Magic media day this afternoon.

"Those words won't come out of my mouth, and I'll expect for them to carry themselves [that way]."

Asked what will make a successful season, Vaughn responded: "For us to look back at the end and to really assess the development of our players. Have they gotten better? Have they gotten game experience? And have we improved as a team overall?"
