The Leesburg Public Library is accepting entries for its fourth annual Local Authors' Showcase, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11 at the library, 100 E. Main St.

The expo is open to any local authors of young adult fiction books — published or self-published. Young adult literature is written for a teenaged audience. The main characters are young adults, who drive the action, and whose stories deal with coming of age issues and other universal conflicts.

The event's goal is to bring exposure to local talent and nurture the pursuit of the writing arts in Central Florida.

The library will offer incentives for anyone attending the program and visiting the author's tables.

Authors are required to have books available for purchase and signing. The showcase is limited to 20 authors. The deadline is Aug. 6 or until the roster is filled.

To enter, email or call 352-728-9790.
