The Jacksonville Jaguars are so bad that WKMG Channel 6 in Orlando issued an on-screen apology to its viewers for having to show the worst NFL game of the day -- the pathetic Jaguars losing 19-9 to the pitiful Oakland Raiders.
While Orlando viewers should have been watching the Manning brothers go mano-a-mano in a game pitting Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos against Eli Manning and the New York Giants, WKMG was forced by the NFL to show the Jags. The NFL's ridiculous TV rules state that because Orlando is a secondary TV market for the Jags, WKMG must air all Jags' road games.
WKMG officials, obviously anticipating massive complaints from viewers, put an on-screen explanation/apology to all of those who wanted to watch the Giants-Broncos game. The apology was scrolled across the screen during the preceding Dolphins-Colts game and said: "In accordance with NFL policy, WKMG must carry all Jacksonville Jaguars away games. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Translation of WKMG apology: If the NFL is going to make us show the pathetic Jaguars, they should make the Jaguars sign Tim Tebow!
