Jones grad Angelo Warner and former Daytona Beach Seabreeze and Stetson guard Corey Walden both earned Ohio Valley Conference men’s basketball honors as juniors.

Warner led Morehead State (19-12) in scoring at 17.9 ppg and was a second team all-conference pick for
Morehead State. He also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists.

Walden averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 2.9 assists and was the OVC Defensive Player of the Year for Eastern Kentucky (21-9). Both teams earned first round byes for the conference tournament and will play second round conference tournament games on Friday in Nashville.
