Andrew Mike said Tuesday night as much as he hated to decommit from his commitment to Vanderbilt, it was Florida that held his interest all along.
Barely 24 hours after Andrew Mike committed to Vanderbilt, the 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive tackle from Tucson (Ariz.) Sabino High changed his mind and pledged to Florida on Tuesday night, just nine hours before college prospects can start faxing signed National Letters of Intent to the colleges of their choice.
Mike is a huge addition to the Gators 2014 recruiting class and not just in size. UF has struggled to build depth on the offensive line for the past two seasons and a talent like Mike, the No. 34-ranked offensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports composite rankings, is a key element and the 22nd commitment to the Gators class, including the seventh offensive lineman.
Mike visited the Gators on the weekend of Jan. 24 and was at Nashville this past weekend.
