The accolades keep rolling in for Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston.
The redshirt freshman was named the Davey O’Brien Quarterback of the Week following Monday’s performance against Pittsburgh, in which he was 25-of-27 for 356 yards and four touchdowns. He added another score on the ground.
At the end of each season, the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award is given to college football’s top quarterback, as decided by a selection committee.
Winston was also named the ACC’s Rookie of the Week.
