Disney World has announced its complete lineup for the 2014 edition of Night of Joy, a two-night Christian-music event at Magic Kingdom next fall.
Performing on Friday, Sept. 5, will be Building 429, For King & Country, Hillsong United, Matt Maher, Mandisa, Chris Tomlin, The Neverclaim and Matthew West.
Performing on Saturday, Sept. 6, will be Casting Crowns, Colton Dixon, Israel Houghton & New Breed, MercyMe, Britt Nicole, One Girl Nation, Skillet, Rhett Walker and We As Human.
Of these 17 acts, six appeared at the 2013 edition: MercyMe, For King & Country, Mandisa, We As Human, Building 429 and Matthew West.
Night of Joy is an after-hours event, requiring a separate ticket from regular theme-park admission. Tickets are not yet available, and prices have not been announced.
The event has been held every year since 1982 at Magic Kingdom, with the exception of 2008 and 2009, when it was produced at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.
In previous years, Universal Orlando has hosted a similar event called Rock the Universe on the same weekend as Night of Joy. No dates or artists have been announced yet for Rock the Universe 2014.
