The new cast on "Dancing With the Stars" won't be announced until Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America." The new season starts Sept. 16.
But Central Florida viewers could have another reason to tune in a show that has been hugely popular in this market: Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte from Port Orange could be hitting the dance floor.
Professional dancer Karina Smirnoff is dropping hints about her partner, according to ET Television.
"I'm just going to say my partner's first name is Ryan," Smirnoff said last week in Las Vegas. "So you go wild -- Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling...you pick! But it's Ryan, and it is a hottie."
Well, Ryan O'Neal has been mentioned as a possibility in the past. But Lochte may be a better fit these days for the hottie clue.
Lochte is familiar with reality television from the E! series "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?"
At the Las Vegas event, Smirnoff said this seaon's celebrities constitute "the best cast we've had in 17 seasons."

"Dancing" needs the star power to bolster ratings.
