Sentinel reporter Walter Pacheco talks about Cyber Monday with Fox 35.

It's Cyber Monday, an extension of the Black Friday shopping holiday that's expected to be huge for online purchases and deals.

My colleague Walter Pacheco is writing about the significance of Cyber Monday. Meanwhile I'll share with you a few of the online deals that have been streaming into my inbox:

Amazon.com's deals include $30 off the Kindle Fire.

Ann Taylor: Forty percent off purchases. And Ann Taylor's Loft has 50 percent off online purchases.

Barnes & Noble: Half off Nook Color and Nook Tablet accessories. Up to 60 percent off hundreds of DVDs. Buy one educational toy or game, get one half off. If you buy select Nooks online with a Master Card, you'll get a $20 Barnes and Noble gift card. And there's half off off certain books (remember those, you techies?).

Children's Place: 30 percent off all orders, and free shipping.

Coldwater Creek: Half off purchases sitewide - and free shipping.

Conde Nast, publisher of magazines such as New Yorker, Bon Appetit and Vogue, is having a Cyber Monday flash sale with up to 85 percent off subscriptions. The sale ends at 11:59 tonight.

Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy: Thirty percent off purchases.

Godiva: $5 gifts and 40 percent off select offers.

Gymboree: 25 percent off all purchases, and free shipping for Rewards members. (Looks like you can join the rewards club right away to take advantage of that.)

JC Penney: Free shipping, no minimum purchase.

JCrew:  25 percent off and free shipping with code MONDAY

JCrew Factory:  50 percent off everything and free shipping with code YOURGIFT
