CBS had the best news this week, drawing the most viewers in each time slot and winning the night overall in young adults.
But ABC's "Shark Tank" set the pace among the 18-to-49 age group for the night, an impressive achievement. And at 8 p.m., Fox's "MasterChef Junior" was more popular with young adults than CBS' long-running "Undercover Boss."
ABC's best performer was "Shark Tank" with 6.5 million fans, according to updated ratings. "MasterChef Junior" had 3.9 million admirers.
The prime-time averages: CBS with 9.2 million total viewers, ABC with 5.5 million, NBC with 4.5 million, Fox with 3 million and The CW with 1.1 million. And CBS edged ABC for leadership in young adults.
In Orlando ratings, "Hawaii Five-O" was the most-watched show with 151,300 viewers. The other favorites were "Blue Bloods" with 140,200 viewers, "Shark Tank" with 109,700, "Undercover Boss" with 96,300 and ABC's "Last Man Standing" with 91,200.
But "MasterChef Junior" was No. 1 with the 18-to-49 age group. Other favorites in that count were "Blue Bloods," "Shark Tank" and "Hawaii Five-O."
