Orlando ranks in the top 50 in a new ranking of the best cities to start a new business, while Jacksonville holds the top spot on the list. 

In the recent study from WalletHub.com, Orlando ranks 37th out of the 150 most populated U.S. cities. The study analyzed relative start-up opportunities in those 150 cities. 

Jacksonville ranks No. 1 on the list, followed by Fayetteville, N.C. and Augusta, Ga. 

Orlando ranks ahead of fellow Florida cities St. Petersburg, Miami, Pembroke Pines, Fort Lauderdale and Hialeah, but behind Jacksonville, Cape Coral, Port St. Lucie, Tampa and Tallahassee

The study used 14 unique metrics, including 5-year-survival rate and affordability of office space. The full report can be viewed here
