Gators coach Will Muschamp will be in Orlando on May 13 to speak at the Central Florida Gator Club, UF announced on Tuesday.
Muschamp's reception could be much different than last spring, when the Gators were coming off an 11-win season.
This time, Muschamp arrives after UF's first losing season since 1979 and some key coaching changes.
The Orlando speaking engagement is one of eight this offseason for Muschamp.
Men's basketball coach Billy Donovan also has two stops scheduled - in Fort Myers (Southwest Florida Gator Club) and Atlanta (Atlanta Gator Club). The dates and times are to be determined.
Muschamp will kick off things April 8 in Gainesville with the Quarterback Club - four days prior to the annual Orange and Blue spring game. He will speak on April 17 in Jacksonville.
Other scheduled speaking engagements for Muschamp will be: May 1 in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County Gator Club), May 5 in Tampa (co-hosted by Tampa Gator Club/Pinellas County Gator Club), May 7 in Lakeland (Polk County Gator Club), May 20 in Gainesville (Titletown Gator Club) and May 22 in Gainesville (Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club).
At dates yet to be determined, Muschamp's latest coaching hires also will be include on the Gator Club tour.
Offensive coordinator Kurt Roper will speak in Ocala (Marion County Gator Club), offensive line coach Mike Summers will appear in Tallahassee (Capital Area Gator Club) and Pensacola (Northwest Florida Gator Club), and special teams coordinator Coleman Hutzler will visit Daytona Beach (Volusia County Gator Club).
