Shaw will finally take his first official visit this weekend when he heads to Athens, Ga., for the Bulldogs' big SEC matchup with LSU. Shaw, who still considers Florida State as the front-runner in the courtship for his services, is also considering Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.
Shaw, nursing an injured groin, did not play this past Friday night against Cypress Creek, which the Panthers took care of easily, scoring 35 points in the second quarter, which was far more than they actually needed in the 35-0 win. He took in the FSU-USF game in Tallahassee on Saturday and was in Gainesville for the UF-Tennessee battle last weekend.
He's played just three games this season and has 12 catches and three touchdowns as Dr. Phillips has gotten off to a 3-0 start.
