AuthenTec to pitch its stock to market movers and shakers
Melbourne-based AuthenTec Inc. executives have set up a busy two-week tour to pitch the company's stock to major brokerage firms and investors, the company said today.
The presentations will run a cross-continental schedule from May 20 through June 3 at investor conferences from New York to San Francisco, according to the high-tech company.
AuthenTec produces fingerprint recognition sensors used in security access for computers and other consumer electronics. Its major customers include HP, Fujitsu, Acer and other major electronics makers.
Its investment tour dates include a double-header on May 20 at the Craig-Hallum Institutional Investor Conference in Minneapolis and the Seventh Annual JMP Securities Research Conference in San Francisco.
Several events are set in New York in late May: Morgan Keegan's Sixth Annual Security Technology Conference (May 28); Lehman Brothers' Ninth Annual Worldwide Wireless & Wireline Conference (May 29); and Cowen & Co.'s Technology Conference/20-20 TMT Conference (May 30). The tour's final event is the Oppenheimer Annual Technology Conference in Boston on June 3.
This week, AuthenTec also announced its fingerprint sensors are included in the new Motion Computing F5 tablet personal computer.
