Comedian Scott Paparcuri grew up in Hicksville, N.Y., a quick hop over Long Island Sound from Connecticut, but he's no stranger to the Nutmeg State. You may have heard him on Kiss 95.7's morning radio show in the late '90s, or seen him sing the National Anthem at University of Hartford basketball games. On Sat., Jan. 28, he'll perform at Mohegan Sun's Cabaret Theatre, as part of Treehouse Comedy Productions' showcase, with Joey Vega, Marvin Bell and Dave Moon. Go get your funny-haha on.

Scott Paparcuri, Jan. 28, 9 p.m., $20, Mohegan Sun Cabaret, 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd., Uncasville, (888) 226-7711, mohegansun.com, treehousecomedy.com.
