The New Jersey-born singer-songwriter and current San Francisco native David Berkeley (pictured), who was recently interviewed by the Huffington Post about his new album, Some Kind of Cure (the fourth he's released on his own label), and also about his new book, 140 Goats And A Guitar: The Stories Behind Some Kind of Cure, plays a show out at West Granby's Holcomb Farm on Friday. Fans of Nick Drake, Paul Simon and Josh Ritter won't have to struggle to get into Berkeley's music, which pays homage to those greats while managing to sound original.
