Connecticut artist John O'Donnell's current exhibit at Real Art Ways, Ponzi Structure, dives head-long into the structure of failure, much like the financial schemes that wiped out many Madoff victims' bank accounts a couple of years ago. A self-proclaimed formalist, O'Donnell assembles his compositions (including "Ponzi Structure 9," pictured) with parts that don't match up, stacking and rigging them together with an eye toward how spectacularly they'll crumble. The exhibit lasts through mid-August.
