Still not sure what to do this week? Well, that's what we're here for, silly. Why don't you try attending one of these:
Thursday, Nov. 17: Tower of Power at the Klein, Bridgeport. Like horns? They got horns. And they play 'em real nice-like.
Friday, Nov. 18: The Weird Beards at the Acoustic Café, Bridgeport. They're weird all right. But we're OK with that. You'll probably be into them if you like Primus and old-timey moustaches.
Saturday, Nov. 19: The Amerigo Trio at the Pequot Library, Wesport. Take the kids out for an afternoon classical concert tailored to young people. Frankly, they need it. They've been watching too much TV, and the internet personalities they've created for themselves are downright disturbing.
Sunday, Nov. 20: Heirloom Flea Market V featuring Two Hawkes at the Heirloom Arts Theatre, Danbury. Buy stuff you don't need, and stuff you didn't know you needed. Hear a live band in the process. A Danbury tradition.
Monday, Nov. 21: Bob Schneider at Daniel Street Club, Milford. We know, it's not technically Fairfield County, but it's a Monday night, and this is a good show. Give us a break…
Tuesday, Nov. 22: Anthony Realbuto and the Melons at the Fez, Stamford. We don't know these guys yet, but they've got a great name, and the Fez is a cool spot, so why not?
Wednesday, Nov. 23: Scarlet Fire at the Beach House Café, Greenwich. We don't want to go another week without seeing a Dead cover band, do we?
