The coming of April means Earth Day is on the horizon, on Sunday the 22nd. But the Bruce Museum is going one step further, declaring all of April to be Earth Day Month. Why not? The kick off for the festivities will be held at the Innis Arden Cottage at Greenwich Point (the building in the picture), where reps from local environmental organizations like the Greenwich Conservation Commission and the Shellfish Commission will join forces with the Bruce Museum staff to inform and educate the public via family activities and programs that promote responsibility towards our natural resources.
Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point. Sun., April 1, 1:30-3 p.m. Free. (203) 413-6742, brucemuseum.org.
