When it comes to ice cream, Chicago can't hold a sugar cone to the much smaller Cambridge, Mass., where Toscanini's, Christina's, Steve's and Herrell's try to outscoop one another with such flavors as burnt caramel, cocoa pudding, adzuki bean and earl grey.
