  1. Victim describes South Baltimore robbery; suspect's family says wrong men charged

Lauren Spates, a 27-year-old former cheerleader for the Ravens, says she knows who attacked her and her husband early Saturday at South Baltimore's Clement and Covington streets. She looked long and hard, she said, knowing her identification "would be the only thing that would get them."

  3. The Front Burner: Smokin' Hot barbecue is true to its name

April 1st (aka April Fool's Day) marked the second anniversary of the grand opening of a strip center eatery that calls itself <a href=&quot;http://www.smokinhotbarandgrille.com">Smokin' Hot Bar and Grille</a>. Don't let the name fool you, though. Yes, wings, ribs and pit beef are among the most popular items here, according to chef/owner Brett Arnold, but lots of crab cakes are consumed on (and off) premises as well. And too, the steaks get good play, especially on Tuesday, when a 12-ounce New York strip goes for $12.95, and on Wednesday, when the steak is paired with a crab cake for $15.95

  7. Meet your menus: Slainte introduces Irish Flight Menu, Clementine switches up breakfast and lunch

Clementine has made some changes to its lunch and breakfast menus. In the case of lunch, it was a matter of addition; for breakfast, contraction. New to the lunch menu are items more in the vein of the Harford Road restaurant's dinner menu. Winston Blick's eternally popular bacon-wrapped meatloaf is now a lunch option, served with roasted tomato gravy and Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Also new are a classic tuna melt, a wild mushroom tart and Blick's take on the Caesar salad with grilled chicken.

Oh, that's right. Cafe Hon is a restaurant. It would have been easy, last year, to mistake Denise Whiting's Hampden establishment for almost anything else. It was only in November, when Whiting announced she was rescinding her controversial "hon"...
