Connecticut icon Sally's Apizza sold to new owners

An iconic Connecticut pizza restaurant has been sold.

An attorney representing the Consiglio family says Sally's Apizza in New Haven sold Wednesday afternoon. The New Haven Register reports the real estate transaction listed the price for $667,500 to a Pennsylvania company. The price of the business itself has not been disclosed.

Robert, Richard and Ruth Consiglio are celebrating the sale. The siblings have been running the restaurant since their mother, Florence, died in 2012.

Robert Consiglio says he and his siblings will now become managers at the restaurant. All of the restaurant staff will stay.
