Prairie Fruits Farm worker knows how to talk the ag talk

Growing up in Wisconsin, Lynn Doran and her brother always bugged their parents to buy them an ATV.

"They shut us down many times," she said.

The 31-year-old Champaign woman no longer needs Mom and Dad's permission for an ATV, and she even secured a complimentary one on her own accord by winning the Young Leader discussion debate at the Illinois Farm Bureau's annual meetings earlier this month in Chicago.

"I even get to pick it out myself," she said. "I'm going to make my brother jealous."
