One of the great things about living in Clarksville is all the amazing and wonderful residents of all ages we meet from time to time. Meet David Leeser, MD, chief of kidney and pancreas, University of Maryland. Dr. Leeser has performed more than 600 kidney transplants and donor nephrectomies to treat patients with end stage renal failure. Currently this is the best method for renal replacement, but there are over 1,100 Marylanders on the list waiting for transplant. Dr. Leeser wanted to do more.
