Jean B. McCausland, a homemaker and accomplished gourmet cook who had lived in Monkton for 45 years, died of pneumonia June 26 at Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson. She was 88. The daughter of Robert Duncan Black, former president and board chairman of Black & Decker Corp., and Eleanor Watts Black, a homemaker, Jean Kathryn Black was born in Baltimore and raised in Roland Park. After graduating in 1944 from Friends School, she earned a bachelor's degree in French in 1949 from Connecticut College in New London. In 1949, she married Thomas G.
