Alhambra 13, Keppel 5
Robert Vargas (6-2) threw four innings with four strikeouts and went three for four with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs to lead visiting Alhambra (17-8, 10-5) past Keppel (3-18, 1-14).

Montebello 11, Bell Gardens 3
Robert Lopez went three for four with a run scored and an RBI, Isahi Garcia went one for two with a solo home run and two RBIs and Joe Gonzalez (7-2) threw a seven-hitter with five strikeouts to lead host Montebello (18-6, 12-3), which clinched the Almont League title with the win over Bell Gardens (11-4 in league).


North County Christian 30, Shandon 0 (5 innings)
Freshman Garry Holdgrafer (3-2) threw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and three walks, Nick Buckley went three for three with a home run, four runs scored and two RBIs and senior Brad Holdgrafer went four for six with a double, a triple and an RBI to lead host North County Christian (9-9, 7-5).


Whittier 9, El Rancho 1
Sophomore Kirk Richardson went three for four with a double and three RBIs, senior Eric Retana went two for three with a double, a triple and two RBIs and Jessie Martinez (7-1) pitched six innings with seven strikeouts to lead visiting Whittier (22-2, 15-0) past El Rancho (11-12, 8-7).


Hart 10, Burbank 1
Tyler Fick (5-2) pitched a three-hitter and went three for four including a double, home run and had two runs scored and three RBIs, Nate Maddox went two for two including a triple and had a run scored and three RBIs and Matt Valaika went two for four with a run scored and two RBIs to lead visiting Hart (14-11-1, 9-5-1). Robert Nichols went one for four inlcuding a double and had a run scored for Burbank (1-22, 0-15).

Saugus 2, Canyon Country Canyon 0
Jason Pfau scattered six hits and struck out 10 and the Centurions (19-6-1, 11-3-1) closed out the regular season with their seventh win in eight games. Casey Stevenson singled and scored on a Ryan Erickson ground ball in the third inning to give Saugus the lead. Thomas Milone was three for three with a sixth-inning home run that provided an insurance run. Canyon is 11-13, 6-9.

Valencia 12, Burbank Burroughs 0
