Re "She reaches Florida and a dream," Sept. 3
"You're never too old to chase your dreams." Wow. It was great to read this quote from Diana Nyad and see her on the front page.
Her journey — swimming from Cuba to Florida on her fifth attempt at the age of 64 — is a positive story and an adventure. She showed how one mature woman could follow her dreams. Thanks to her for proving it can be done, and thanks to The Times for publishing this uplifting article and photo.
