A Placer County CHP officer is behind bars today facing drug and weapon charges.
Investigators say, 37-year old, Ruben Salgado was arrested yesterday afternoon in a Rocklin Safeway
They say he was arrested for possession of meth, driving under the influence of meth, transporting meth, and he was carrying a weapon.
A tip lead to a two month investigation of Salgado.
Salgado was placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.
He was booked in Placer County Jail.
