ROCKLIN - A Sacramento police officer was arrested Saturday evening after authorities responded to a call by disturbed neighbors that the man was loading a firearm in front of his home.

Officers responded to the intersection of Heron Court and Darby Road in Rocklin to find 34-year-old Jeffrey McKay making threats to neighbors while brandishing a firearm. Police report a handgun was found at the scene.

McKay was detained while an investigation was conducted. Neighbors have previously reported McKay exposed himself while urinating on his lawn.

McKay was booked at the Placer County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure, public intoxication, brandishing a firearm and making criminal threats of harm to the public.
