PLACERVILLE, Calif. - September 23, 2008 -Red Hawk Casino announced today that Heidi Hamers has been named Vice President of Marketing.  Ms. Hamers has more than 16 years of marketing experience in the gaming industry.


Ms. Hamers comes to Red Hawk Casino from Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Mich.  As vice president of marketing, Ms. Hamers was instrumental in the development of the marketing campaign for the opening of the casino, which features 130,000 square feet of gaming space, six restaurants and a 165-room hotel.  She was also responsible for hiring and developing a team of more than 120 marketing employees, which contributed to the successful debut of the property and established Four Winds as the leading gaming resort in the Midwest.

Prior to joining the Four Winds Casino Resort, Ms. Hamers served as corporate vice president of marketing for Grand Casino, overseeing marketing operations at Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Mille Lacs, Minn. and Grand Casino Hinckley in Hinckley, Minn.  Ms. Hamers was responsible for direct marketing, promotions, advertising, entertainment, events and player development.


Ms. Hamers also held senior level positions with Harrah's Iowa in Council Bluffs, Iowa; Harrah's Cherokee in Cherokee, N.C.; Treasure Bay Casino in Biloxi, Miss.; Park Place Entertainment in Gulfport, Miss.; New Horizon KIDS QUEST in Plymouth, Minn.; and Grand Casino Coushatta in Kinder, La.   


Ms. Hamers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn.
