SACRAMENTO—Three Central Valley Democratic holdouts say they'll back the health care reform proposal when the House takes up its vote.
Rep. Jerry McNerney of Pleasanton and Rep. Dennis Cardoza of Atwater announced Saturday they were satisfied with the proposals after reading the final language of the bill. Rep. Jim Costa of Fresno also said he will vote yes.
California stands to benefit the most from the health care reform proposal winding its way through Congress. The state is struggling with a growing number of uninsured.
But some residents remain suspicious of the way legislators have gone about trying to enact reforms. Hundreds of people have picketed the three representatives in swing congressional districts in recent days.
