The inaugural American Country Awards will take place on December 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. And on FOX. The ceremony will air live at 8 p.m.

ACA will be the first and only country music awards show where fans choose all the winners by voting online on all 17 categories. Fans can vote once a day until November 8 for all categories, except Artist of the Year, which closes on December 4. Fans must visit www.theacas.com to vote.

Superstars Lady Antebellum and newcomer Easton Corbin lead the inaugural ACA nominees with seven nominations each; Carrie Underwood earned six nods; and Miranda Lambert and Josh Turner each garnered five.

Bob Bain, the executive producer for the awards show, stressed the importance of fan-involvement this year. "Unlike any other country music award show, the American Country Awards will give fans the power to choose all of the winners, which means the awards will reflect what America is listening to and watching right now," Bain said.
