Aushua McDuff-Brown, the woman accused of killing a 3-year-old boy with her car, is back in Stockton.

McDuff-Brown was booked into San Joaquin County Jail early Sunday morning. She’s facing murder charges.

The incident that landed her in jail happened Monday, when McDuff-Brown allegedly ran over 3-year-old Ruben Ramirez in front of Madison Market. It happened right in front of the boy’s mother, Deleshia Mason.

Police say McDuff-Brown had an argument with another woman and got into her car to try to hit her. Instead, she ran over and killed Ramirez.

McDuff-Brown was captured Wednesday at a Greyhound bus station in El Monte.

Her court date is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
