An El Dorado County Judge has agreed to consider a motion by the Sacramento Bee and other media outlets to release documents related to the Phillip and Nancy Garrido case.
Judge Douglas Phimister agreed to consider releasing grand jury transcripts and court documents that had been sealed.
Nancy Garrido's lawyer argued because the transcripts contain such "evil", there is no way his client could get a fair trial if the documents are released.
The judge says they will give the District Attorney and Defense Attorneys until December 2nd to file objections.
