BELIZE (KTLA) -- FBI agents arrested a woman Wednesday in Belize wanted in connection with a 2010 killing in Palmdale, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Agents apprehended Larene Eleanor Austin, 29, on suspicion of her involvement the shooting death of Lanell Barsock.
Austin allegedly tried to frame Barsock's boyfriend for the slaying, but Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies named her as the prime suspect, the Times reported.
Authorities found Austin after they received a tip after an episode of "America's Most Wanted" in December featuring Barsock's killing. FBI agents joined by Belize police officers arrested Austin in the country's Toledo District.
They flew Austin to Houston and turned her over to sheriff's homicide detectives, the Times reported.
