TUSTIN -- Former mixed martial arts fighter Kimo Leopoldo
is under arrest on drug and theft charges.
Two detectives spotted the 6-foot-3, 235-pound athlete wearing a Long Beach Police Department jumpsuit in the parking lot of a shopping center at Irvine
Boulevard and Jamboree Road, said Tustin
police Sgt. Jeff Blair.
Blair said Leopoldo gave the officers conflicting statements about where he had
gotten the jumpsuit.
When officers searched his car, they found a glass pipe and a small amount of meth, according to Blair.
Leopoldo was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and having stolen property.
Leopoldo fought Royce Gracie at UFC 3, but hasn't been in
the organization since 2004. His most recent mixed martial arts bout was in
