"This Is Ireland," is a St. Patrick's Day celebration that features authentic Irish theatrical, musical performances at UCLA's Royce Hall. This is set to redefine St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Los Angeles. Some celebrity guest performers include actor Pierce Brosnan, actress Roma Downey, Lyric Soprano Celine Byrne, "X-Factor" Finalist Storm Lee, Paris Opera Baritone Sam McElroy with Music by Elmer Bernstein, Christopher Young, John Williams and U2.
"This Is Ireland," will take place Today, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 8:00 PM at UCLA's prestigious performing arts theater, where music and performances unite to celebrate the journey of the Emerald Isle. The "This is Ireland" experience is promising to become an annual St. Patrick's Day event in Los Angeles. The evening will be a multimedia expression of Irish music, culture and history led by Irish composer and conductor Eímear Noone.
