The 2008 election saw a strong emergence of young people energized by the campaigns and ready to make a difference. Now that the election is over what will the role of young leaders be during this period of change? A multicultural panel of young leaders will share their views before an audience of high school student leaders and young college students.

Panelists: Dr. Eddie Glaude, Princeton University; actor/activist Jurnee Smollett; Dr. Alia Sabur, young college professor in history at age 19; Tricia Rose, author of Hip Hop Wars; Maria Teresa Peterson, Voto Latino; Jocelyn Butcher, Navy; and Josh Kun, USC professor.
