During an interview at the 50-yard line, the winning coach of a high school championship football game and several other people were mowed down by an unmanned, runaway electric cart.
The coach was thrown into the passenger seat of the cart. He tried to gain control of it but fell out.
A field worker was finally able to jump into the cart and bring it to a stop.
Seven people were treated for minor injuries at the stadium. One man who suffered leg abrasions was taken to the hospital for a precautionary exam.
Stadium officials say it's unclear why the cart took off unmanned.
