LOS ANGELES ( KTLA) -- A 64 year old Rowland Heights man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of killing his estranged wife, a Los Angeles County Sheriff spokeswoman said.
According to sheriff's officials, Stanley Wang called 911 about 12:30 p.m. to report that his 41-year-old wife had been hurt.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim, whose name was not given, was estranged from her husband and had returned to the residence to retrieve some personal items, sheriff's officials said.
At that time, the couple reportedly got in a physical altercation.
Wang was arrested and booked at the sheriff's Walnut-Diamond Bar station.
He was being held at the L.A. County jail without bail.
