Teen prescription drug abuse can devastate families, destroy marriages and can leave a child dead or severely disabled.
Many parents would probably be shocked to hear that they may be their son or daughters drug dealer.
But, according to drug abuse organizations, prescription medicines are being abused by kids much younger.
In fact, they are now the most commonly abused drugs among 12 and 13 year olds.
Reporter Mary Beth McDade has the story of one mother and son devastated by prescription drug use.
